Luxury Glamping Holidays Scotland
Ben and I (Leila) first visited Scotland in 2010 when we holidayed with our dogs on the west coast. This was the beginning of a love affair with the Highlands and we were married on the shores of beautiful Loch Torridon two years later.
We decided we would like to make the Highlands our home so began looking for a property where we could also run our own business. After a long search we finally found Craskie Estate in June 2014 and completely uprooted our lives in West Yorkshire two months later!
Craskie Estate had been rather neglected for several years, drinking water came from the burn and the access bridge was little more than a causeway with no sides!
When we arrived we set about sympathetically renovating the Old Mill and saving the beautiful ruined farmhouse. We also put in a 76m borehole ensuring fresh drinking water all year round and a brand-new bridge over the river.
We put in our first two pods and bathrooms and 2016 and in 2019 we added two more pods. This summer we added a fantastic parking area for our pods giving our guests a greater sense of having their own space.
We now live happily at Craskie with our young daughter, dogs, cats, sheep and chickens. We do everything ourselves at Craskie Estate and we strive to ensure that our guests have a truly memorable stay, so please do not hesitate to contact us if there is anything you need.

Beautiful place to take a few days rest. Contact with nature on a daily basis as deer be seen munching grass each day. Peaceful and majestic. Would recommend to anyone who wants to escape from day to day life. Love it!
